The PowerShot SD30 is an continuation of the ultra-compact line of Canon digital cameras, which is an updated version of the SD20. The main difference compared to the SD20 apart from styling is the fact that this is the first SD series to feature a zoom lens, a 2.4x (38 - 90 mm equiv.) unit. The new LCD display is a 1.8"-type, with a 44% greater viewing area than the SD20's 1.5" display. Four colors will be offered: Tuxedo Black, Rock Star Red, Glamor Gold, and Vivacious Violet.
