I bought one a couple of months ago and have printed many photos. I noticed that the software likes to do some automatic adjustments that, for photos without many colors, the output seems to be a little washed out. But for photos with many colors, the output is simply brilliant. I think the problem is with the proper use of monitor and the printer's color profile that matches the paper I am using. I'm still experimenting but I'm getting close to what I want. Another characteristic that makes it a pleasure to use is its speed. It's fast. Originally I didn't even consider the print speed as a factor, now I must say it makes the print generating process a more pleasant job. I wanted to buy the Epson 2200 but I couldn't wait so I purchased the S9000. And I have no regrets at all with it.
