Press Release: Ricoh announces the Caplio RR330, a new 3 megapixel and 3x optical zoom addition to their RR series. With the design of the new RR330, Ricoh is following the pack and seems to have abandoned their own unique digital camera design that we've seen in the past with their G-series and even more in the RDC-series...
FEATURES - 3.14-megapixel CCD The Caplio RR330 employs a CCD image sensor with 3.14 effective megapixels of outstanding resolution (3.34 million total pixels). Photos retain their crisp quality even when printed on large-format paper.
- Optical 3x zoom The optical 3x zooming capability comes standard on the Caplio RR330. Combine this with digital 2x zooming and you have up to 6x zooming to capture your subject.
- Video capture mode Use the "Capture Video" mode to shoot moving images and enhance your shooting enjoyment.
- AA battery support The Caplio RR330 can be powered by two AA-size batteries. These can be your choice of regular alkaline batteries or NiMH batteries.
- Superbly portable design The camera's compact size fits snugly in your palm. Weighing in at only 160g*, the Caplio RR330 offers the advantages of true mobility. *Excluding strap, batteries and SD Card
- All-in-one package In addition to a USB cable, the Caplio RR330 comes with Windows-compatible software for photo retouching and panoramic image creation.
- 16MB built-in memory plus SD Card memory. For data storage, the Caplio RR330 supports an SD Card (sold as an option), a popular and widely used medium, in addition to its 16MB built-in memory.
