With 3.2 Megapixels, the superbly styled SD300 is perfect for detailed prints up to A4 size. A new UA (ultra-high refractive index aspherical) lens offers outstanding image fidelity in an incredibly petite form, making this one of the smallest Digital IXUS cameras with a 3x optical zoom.

Movie making
Make extra-long movies at 30fps VGA (recording of up to 1GB movie files possible), then share the fun with friends as you play clips - complete with sound - on the extra large high-definition 2.0" LCD screen, or by connecting direct to TV. You can even record 60 seconds of fast QVGA action at 60fps for slow motion review.

Powerful technology
SD300 possesses Canon's powerful second-generation DIGIC II image processor. It links key camera functions quickly and efficiently to produce superb image clarity, responsive camera control, fast and accurate auto focus, long smooth continuous shooting and quick start-up times. The 9-point AiAF ensures perfectly focused images, even when subjects are not centred in the frame.

Make a scene
iSAPS acts like your own personal photographer's assistant, analysing the scene before optimising camera settings to help get the best results from every shooting opportunity. Shoot with confidence and creativity, even in tricky shooting conditions, with six scene modes including Indoor and Night Snapshot.

Prints without computer
Printing photos should be as easy as taking them - and it is. Connect your camera to any PictBridge compatible photo printer, push the Print/Share button and within seconds, you'll be holding a full colour print - it's that simple. When connected to a Canon SELPHY CP series printer, you can even print handy ID photos.

Image sharing
To edit and manage shots and movies, the SD300 comes complete with Canon's extensive ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) and ImageBrowser (for Macintosh) software. Retouch images and manage your digital albums with ease, then share favourite shots with friends with the 100MB of free online space on the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY.

Option up
Keep your Digital IXUS as new with a snug fitting Soft Case. The optional All Weather Case (waterproof up to 3m depth) protects your camera when hitting the beach or ski slopes.
