Samsung Electronics continues to provide state-of-the-art digital video and still photo compact cameras with the announcement of three new palm-sized camcorders; the Samsung VP-X110L Sports Cam, the Miniket (Samsung VP-M110). The products will be on display at CeBIT 2005. The weather resistant Samsung VP-X110L Sports Cam is the ideal camcorder for the modern "on-the-go" lifestyle. The pocket-sized, streamlined design provides maximum portability and is built to withstand the harshest of conditions. The Samsung VP-X110L features 10x Optical Zoom with a 800K Movie Optimized CCD lens for superior colour precision and image detail.
Samsung VP-X110L - Sports Cam
In addition to producing sharp, realistic movie footage, the Samsung VP-X110L allows users to capture digital still images. The Samsung VP-X110L also benefits from the Image Stabilizer function that compensates for any slight shaking movements. An extra sports camera module provides hands-free shooting capability and can be mounted on a helmet or other stable surface for extreme-sports recording. 1GB of built-in memory and an MPEG4 recording option help users maximize the amount of footage that can be captured before downloading movies. MPEG4 video recording offers the additional advantage of allowing consumers to share files quickly via e-mail.
Camcorder Miniket
The tapeless camcorder Miniket (Samsung VP-M110), which features built-in flash memory, is a multi-function unit with options including high quality MPEG4 (720x576 / 25fps), Digital Camera, MP3P, Voice Recorder, PC Camera and External Data Storage. Samsung Miniket has 1GB of built-in flash memory which allows for 1600 - 2000 of stored digital images and 22 - 130 minutes of video recording. With PictBridge for direct printing and high-speed data transmission using USB 2.0, this camcorder camera combo offers consumers a high-performance product, whether they want their pictures to move or not. The Samsung VP-M110 is now available in the European market and Samsung VP-X110L will be available in April 2005.
