Introduction

Samsung Electronics has today unveiled two new photo printers to support its growing product portfolio in this market. On display at CeBIT 2005 show, The Samsung SPP-2020 and SPP-2040 are Samsung's newest additions, a dye sublimation A6 photo printer that users will love for its compact size. Plus the Samsung SPP-2040 supports the convenient PC-less editing functions. The Samsung SPP-2040 series features a 7-in-1 memory (CF I, II, SM, SD, MMC, MS, XD Card) interface, and supports direct printing connectivity with PictBridge for digital cameras, camera phones and digital camcorders.
Mobile Printing Ready Feature
Available as both a wireless (Bluetooth via USB A type - optional) and wired printer, the SPP-2020/2040 boasts great quality and fast operation. Until now, the camera phone and photo printer had to be using the same technology platform in order to download photos directly. By contrast, the Samsung SPP-2040 series uses Mobile Printing Ready feature, which conveniently allows the cellular phone and printer to interface with the type of memory card, PictBridgeTM and Bluetooth (OPP).

The SPP-2040 series produces high quality photos, with an innate system to balance color-levels, even for multiple copies. Photos are printed with a premium water and fade-resistant finish that even protects against fingerprints. With the Samsung SPP-2040, you can also select, edit and delete your photos directly from the 2.0 inch TFT-LCD without having to turn on your PC.
