Introduction

The ultra-compact Samsung VP-D6550i DuoCam merges both still and video functionality to offer consumers a complete digital imaging package. It features Samsung's groundbreaking dual-lens system, which allows consumers to effortlessly switch modes to produce sharp digital video or high-resolution still images. Users can take vibrant, hi-res colour video images with DuoCam's 800K CCD lens and 10x Optical Zoom/ 900x Digital Zoom, while the 5-megapixel CCD lens delivers 2592 x 1944 pixel image resolution for maximum picture sharpness and colour accuracy. The new DuoCam has a built-in 2.5-inch colour LCD screen to playback images and video, and is remarkably 35 percent smaller than its predecessor.
Development

The Samsung VP-D6550i will be available in April 2005.
