The CP-8 underwater housing is purpose designed for the Nikon Coolpix 8700 and 5700 digital cameras. The CP-8 housing is designed with a unique air lock system for sealing the camera and allowing the water to exert an even pressure on the O-ring, thus increasing the reliability of the watertight seal. The Fantasea CP-8 housing is rated to a maximum working depth of 90m/300 ft. These injection molded housings are constructed to take the rigorous environments that underwater and outdoor photographers experience, and will protect digital cameras in these demanding activities.

Exclusive Air Lock system
The CP8 housing is uniquely designed with an air lock system. Fantasea has tested the housing and this has shown that this arrangement allows the water to exert an even pressure on the O-ring, thus increasing the reliability of the watertight seal. The CP-8 housing uses a double O-ring seal on all stainless steel controls as well as a single radial O-ring on the back door which combined with the air lock system allows for the most reliable and durable seal for any underwater housing.
