IntroductionThis 5.1 Megapixels digital camera is for Pentacon a top model in its series of digital cameras. The camera has a small stylish designed housing and offers a 3x optical zoom lens. According to Pentacon the new Luxmedia 5203 should offer stunning sharp photos made in a most user-friendly way, in other words we are talking about an average 5 Megapixel entry-level digital camera. The Praktica 5203 has an intuitive graphical user interface which will contribute to its friendly control. The back of the camera is covered with a 6.1cm (2.4-inch) color LCD display.
Easy to control The Praktica Luxmedia 5203 is easy to handle. Just activate the camera and choose from one of the nine different integrated scene modes that will cover almost every situation you can think of. Of course we have seen this before, but well for Pentacon Germany it is worth while to mention in its news. The optical zoom had a focal length of 5.95 - 17.4mm (equivalent to 35-105mm on a 35mm camera). Shutter speed has a range of 8 - 1/2000 seconds with a selectable exposure compen- sation of +/- 2.0 EV with 1/3 step.
